May was the busiest trade show month for Team Pulsara, with our teams attending a whopping 11 shows across the globe. And events weren't the only things keeping the team busy in May! See our highlights from last month below.

Customer Success
Teams at Overlake Medical Center (OMC) in Bellevue, WA, discovered the power of using a single communication channel to communicate around a patient event. After implementing Pulsara, teams at OMC reduced door-to-needle times for tPA patients by 31% and door-to-groin puncture for LVO patients by 24%. 

Pulsara + Obstetrics
Team Pulsara released a new OB patient type that enables healthcare teams to better support pregnant mothers and newborns via telehealth and improved communication.

Change Management Webinar
We rounded up healthcare leaders from Des Moines, IA, and Colorado Springs, CO, to discuss how they successfully created interconnected regional systems of care based around Pulsara and how they navigated change management with so many different systems and stakeholders. Missed the webinar? No problem! Be on the lookout for our coverage of the webinar in the coming weeks. 

As spring ends and the northern hemisphere heads into summer, there will be no "lazy days" of summer for Team Pulsara. We've got some exciting new projects on the docket. Until we can announce those, let's look at where the team is heading in June and July. 

COMING UP June & JULY 2022:

June 1 - 2 | BECKER'S THE SHIFT TO DIGITAL VIRTUAL EVENT | VIRTUAL

You won't find any virtual booths at this conference, but you will find an educational session presented by Pulsara's Senior Vice President - Strategic Initiatives, Joey Branton. During his session, Joey will give attendees a new way to think about using available funding to address urban and rural healthcare access through broadband connectivity and how your teams can leverage this connectivity to navigate the internet on behalf of your patients. 

JUNE 7 - 9 | ABC360 & XI LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE | CLEARWATER BEACH, FL

The team has so far attended three of the abc360 and XI Leadership conferences across the U.S. The fourth of the conferences will be the last we attend this year. One of Pulsara's own, Kris Kaull, Chief Growth Officer, has had the opportunity to be the keynote speaker for both the abc360 and XI Leadership conferences (that's right, two conferences in one!). That means you'll have one last chance to hear Kris present these sessions during this conference in Clearwater Beach, FL. 

JUNE 14 - 19 | 21ST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON EMERGENCY MEDICINE | MELBOURNE, AUS

Pulsara's Regional Director, APAC, Michael Drummond, is sticking around Melbourne for a few weeks after the Digital Health Festival to attend ICEM 2022. This year's theme? Better Care for a Better World. Given that Pulsara's mission is to improve the lives of patients in need and those who serve them, we're looking forward to speaking with attendees about their plans to improve emergency care within their organization and region. 

JUNE 28 - 29 | STRAC REGIONAL EMERGENCY HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS CONFERENCE | SAN ANTONIO, TX

With session topics ranging from OB to sepsis to rural stroke care, the STRAC Regional Emergency Healthcare Systems Conference has a little bit of information for everyone involved in the care continuum. During breaks, stop by Pulsara's table to learn how our scalable communication platform unites teams across regions during any patient event. 

JULY 25 - 29 | PINNACLE EMS CONFERENCE | MARCO ISLAND, FL

The Pinnacle EMS Conference is an event that Team Pulsara looks forward to attending each year, and this year is no different. Visit the team at Pulsara table 44 to see how easy it is to use our new mass casualty/multiple patient incident functionality to triage (including wrist band scanning) and track patients from the field.
