Pulsara Around the World - August 2022

Pulsara Around the World - August 2022

June & July Recap

Over the past two months, our team has attended four conferences worldwide and presented virtual and in-person sessions with topics focusing on addressing urban and rural healthcare access through broadband connectivity and the role of stupidity in EMS

What else has Team Pulsara been up to for the past two months? Let's take a look!

Customer Success
What does it take to keep low-acuity patients out of the hospital and ease the burden on regional ERs that are maxed out on capacity and lack both beds and bandwidth to care for patients during a COVID-19 surge? Download the Austin-Travis County EMS case study to learn how their C4 (Collaborative Care Communication Center) Unit leveraged Pulsara's telehealth and communication capabilities to keep 434-low acuity patients out of the hospital in 3 weeks with a successful ET3 program.

New Releases
In June, Pulsara released Pulsara HQ for EMS Admins. This new browser-based command center enables supervisors to track units, access patient details, see hospital availability, and communicate with their teams.

An eBook is considered a release, too, right? In partnership with EMS1, Pulsara released the free eBook 'Closing the Gaps: Plug Holes in Your Skillset and Cracks in Your Budget,' a guide to responding to mental health calls, treating burns, assessing pain in children, getting grant funding, and more!

Awards and Recognition
We are thrilled and honored to announce that Pulsara MED OPS™ has been named the “Best Healthcare Technology Solution” winner of 2022 as part of the annual SIIA CODiE Awards. We could not be more proud of the hard work our team put into building a platform that scales to enable teams to coordinate the care of time-sensitive emergencies, incidents, and stress events.

While our team is scattered and working remotely worldwide, Bozeman, MT, is the home of Pulsara headquarters and is where much of our team resides. It's an honor to be named one of the Best Tech Startups in Montana by the Tech Tribune.

Summer in the northern hemisphere has been a busy time for our team. With a few months until things start to (hopefully) cool down, let's look at where Team Pulsara is heading in August.

COMING UP August 2022:

AUGUST 4 - 5 | FSR 10TH ANNIVERSARY MEETING | ORLANDO, FL

Pulsara is proud to support the Florida Stroke Registry's 10th Annual Meeting this week! The Meeting offers attendees a welcome reception that features stakeholder research poster displays, a full day of educational sessions, and ASLS training. Amidst all of the learning and networking, don't forget to stop by Pulsara's table during the breaks to tell us what your regional system of stroke care looks like.

AUGUST 11 - 13 | CAA CONGRESS | SYDNEY, AUS

Our team won't let the beautiful scenery of the Darling Harbour in Sydney, AUS distract them from showing attendees how Pulsara unites paramedics with the entire multidisciplinary team to coordinate the care of any patient type, including STEMI, stroke, COVID-19, behavioral health, and more!

AUGUST 31 - SEPTEMBER 2 | STROKE SOCIETY OF AUSTRALASIA 31ST ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING | Christchurch, NZ

Pulsara's Regional Director, APAC, Michael Drummond, is hopping from one island to the other as he makes his way from the CAA Congress in Australia to the 31st Annual Scientific Meeting in New Zealand. This year's event focuses on the reconnection of the best clinical and research minds and the celebration of research despite the challenges of COVID-19.
