Pulsara Version 10.14: Improved Pulsara Calling and More (Release Notes)

June 30, 2020 - Bozeman, Montana - Pulsara recently announced the release of app version 10.14. Full release notes are as follows.

--

Hello!

Summer is so close, we can almost feel the heat.  Well, maybe not in Montana, we had snow over Memorial Day weekend!

With a surge in patients needing special care these last few months, we are here to help your care team navigate uncharted waters and do your job with technology that makes a difference.

Pulsara version 10.14 includes enhancements to privately communicate about patient care, and also gives providers flexibility to start voice and video conversations for better patient outcomes.

  • Pulsara Calls will now begin as audio-only, and video can be added on demand
  • Audio calls will begin using the internal phone earpiece
  • We’ve doubled the audio clip limit to two minutes
  • Android folks can schedule their on/off call times easier
  • Better reliability of video calls on Android during poor network connectivity

START WITH VOICE, ADD VIDEO

There are many different situations where instant video may not be comfortable, and we’re here to make a better experience for your entire care team.

Many providers are working from home and don’t need others to see their living room, bedroom, or a bad hair day.  We’re listening and your feedback has landed in Pulsara Calling. New calls will now start as audio only, but you have the option to enable video on demand.

Privacy matters, and whether you are crawling out of bed at 2 am to check on a request, or you need to protect patient confidentiality, starting with voice means less hassle.

RIGHT IN YOUR EAR

To help protect privacy, Pulsara calling will start on the phone’s internal earpiece so ambient audio of your environment is not heard on the receiving end.

I JUST NEED A LITTLE MORE TIME

Almost two years ago we added audio clips as a hallmark feature in Pulsara. We’ve doubled the audio clip limit to two minutes. EMS personnel can now send even more information in their report instead of picking up the radio. Care teams now have even more time to capture relevant information related to the patient.

ANDROID FOLKS: SCHEDULE YOUR CALL TIMES WITH EASE

We’ve made it easier for Android users to schedule their call times. Now, our time widget defaults to specify the time in hours when you’re setting your next on or off call time. As soon as you select the hour (seeing both standard and 24-hour time), the widget changes to minute selection.
