In Part 1 of our 4-part series about who we are as a company, we defined our mission, the answer to WHAT do we do at Pulsara. We unite and empower people to improve health by simplifying care coordination.

In conjunction with our mission, our purpose statement answers HOW. How will we accomplish our mission? Or more specifically, how is Pulsara going to simplify care coordination?

PURPOSE: To improve the lives of patients and caregivers through innovative communication.

So, what's that mean? What is innovative technology? For us at Pulsara, it means a number of things:

  • We want a platform that is standardized for ALL of healthcare -- 911 and EMS (Pre-hospital), inside the hospital (Intra-hospital), and between healthcare facilities (Inter-hospital).
  • We want to steer clear of proprietary hardware as there's no need to complicate the already messy IT world of telecommunications.
  • The product must be scalable, able to grow with the demands of the healthcare industry.
  • It should be SUPER simple, as simple as a tap. Whether its an acute ischemic stroke or an active STEMI, technology shouldn't be a hindrance.

How E-X-A-C-T-L-Y do we do that? Check out our videos for STEMI and Stroke.

Yup. That's how we do it.
