The Power of Connected Teams: Thoughts on the Pulsara and iSchemaView RAPID Integration

Here at Pulsara, the vision is clear: to be the evidence-based standard of care.

What drives us tirelessly toward this ambitious goal? It's simple really: our team is comprised of many clinicians who have lived the pain and frustration of poor communication. We've seen its impact on the people who have placed their trust in us. And we’ve felt the impact on our own sense of competence, success, and job satisfaction. Our driving passion is to improve the lives of both patients and caregivers through innovative communication.

There's never been a more exciting time to be part of a team like Pulsara; with all of the amazing technology solutions out there, it’s no secret that the face of healthcare is changing fast. The key for tech companies in this highly competitive and fast-paced field is to find ways to work together for the benefit of the patient and not against each other for short term gain.

Through the years, we’ve learned that to truly solve the problems that exist in healthcare, we have to work with other problem solvers so we can ensure that the healthcare provider has an experience that fits seamlessly into their everyday workflow. A hospital or EMS agency can't depend on dozens of apps, platforms, and software to solve the everyday problems they encounter. The only logical answer is consolidation and collaboration.

Here at Pulsara, we've already announced that we've partnered with ZOLL to bring our users high quality transmitted ECGs with a simple and intuitive workflow that is easier and better than using either of the two technologies alone. When I hear the enthusiastic feedback of medics who are using the Pulsara/ZOLL integrations, I quickly realize that it’s true: some things are better together.

In the spirit of collaboration, I'm excited to announce another Pulsara partnership: iSchemaView RAPID.

Why iSchemaView RAPID? Because stroke scores are quickly taking a back seat to the rapid radiology imaging that is available today. CT scans are so fast, and now with artificial intelligence, the scans can be processed and made available in a matter of seconds instead of hours as in times past. With this integration, the highest quality CT images with built-in artificial intelligence interpretations are now distributed on healthcare's most advanced real-time team communication mobile platform.

The images from iSchemaView RAPID allow users to determine whether the patient can benefit from thrombectomy. Being able to make that decision quickly is HUGE for stroke patients who are losing 2 million brain cells every minute. It’s about time, and the challenge has always been how to get that information to the right people in the fastest and most dependable way.

Problem, meet solution.

Improving our stroke care treatment times is bigger than one platform, one feature, one image, or one clinician. It’s about standardizing so that regardless of method of arrival, time of day, team on call … we can rely on a central communication network to ensure that the right people have the right information at the right time. It’s about connected teams. Better together: iSchemaView & Pulsara.
