Standing with Texas: Supporting Resilience Through Coordinated Response

Standing with Texas: Supporting Resilience Through Coordinated Response

In the aftermath of the enormous tragedy and loss of life in the Texas floods, our hearts are with every individual, family, and community impacted.

Since the devastating flooding on July 4, we have witnessed the unwavering spirit of individual Texans and their communities as they continue to lift one another up in the face of unimaginable loss. The event also highlighted the extraordinary strength and dedication of local, regional, and state response organizations.

Amid the chaos, response agencies across Texas came together in an extraordinary show of coordination and unity, demonstrating the strength of shared leadership in crisis. Through their trust and commitment to innovation and preparedness, a unified system was in place to manage patient tracking, family reunification, and mass fatality response.

Pulsara is humbled to have supported these efforts—both remotely and on the ground—by enabling real-time communication, patient tracking, and family reunification across more than 100 organizations as they worked to assist over 1300 people: evacuees, patients, and those rescued from harm’s way.

We are profoundly grateful to the State of Texas for its vision and to every organization on the front lines for their leadership and collaboration. Our part in this response is small compared to the tireless work of those on the ground and directly affected by the tragedy, and we are honored to serve alongside such dedicated teams.

Moments like this remind us that when people and systems work together, even the most challenging circumstances can be met with unity and resolve. Our hearts remain with every person and family impacted, and we stand with the communities that continue to grieve, rebuild, and heal. We remain committed to strengthening the systems that enable effective response, ensuring that no community stands alone in the face of disaster.
