What problem does Pulsara solve?
Have you ever played the game of Telephone, where one person whispers a message to another, who then whispers to the next person in the line, and so on until the final person repeats back what she heard? The final message is almost always radically different from the original information as miscommunications cause breakdowns in understanding.
Unfortunately, healthcare communication can feel like a high-stakes game of telephone, with technologies that don't integrate and team members who are left in the dark. When our patients are having a heart attack, stroke, or other time sensitive emergency, members of their care team in EMS or hospital settings often don't know who else is or will be caring for that patient, particularly when patients need to be transferred to other facilities in other counties or cities. That means critical information is missed, steps are needlessly repeated, and ultimately, treatment is delayed.
The Pulsara network connects all those moving parts together, allowing clinicians to dynamically build their care team, in one clear location that transmits video, images, audio clips, messages, and other critical information to EVERYONE at the same time.
At Pulsara, we believe it's about people -- that's why we aim to serve the people who care for our most critical patients.
Hear more about Pulsara's history, value, and our WHY in this audio interview with Dr. James Woodson, Founder and CEO, which recently aired on KGVM radio:
