Pulsara Introduces New ‘Secure-ish’ Messaging Feature

Pulsara Introduces New ‘Secure-ish’ Messaging Feature
For Those Who Love a Good "Oopsie!"

At Pulsara, we pride ourselves on enabling secure, HIPAA-compliant communication for healthcare teams. But let’s be honest—sometimes, people just love the thrill of an accidental message mishap. We’re excited to announce our latest (and definitely not HIPAA-compliant) feature: Secure-ish Messaging.

Why Secure When You Can Secure-ish?

After the development of recent events, we realized that some people thrive in the chaos of sending highly sensitive information to exactly the wrong person. To better serve this audience, Pulsara Secure-ish Messaging is designed for those who enjoy a little unpredictability in their communication.

Key Features:

🕵️ Oops! Mode – Adds an extra layer of excitement by automatically sending your messages to one random external contact. Whether it’s a local journalist, a rival hospital, or your unsuspecting Uber driver, you’ll never know who gets to join the fun!

🛑 Leak Protection (Beta) – Our system will scan your group chat and detect if a member of the press is present. If so, all messages will be replaced with, “Whoops, wrong group!” to save you from an impromptu press conference.

📠 Nostalgia Mode – For users who prefer classic miscommunication, this feature ensures all critical messages are accidentally converted into fax format and sent directly to the closest out-of-order machine. Just like the good old days!

📢 The ‘Reply-All’ Power Boost – Because what’s more efficient than alerting your entire hospital system about your lunch order? With Secure-ish Messaging, every message has a 50% chance of being sent as a mass broadcast. Live a little!

Early User Feedback

We’ve already begun testing Secure-ish Messaging in the wild, and the results have been predictably unpredictable:

  • “Finally, a way to keep things exciting in healthcare comms! Nothing like realizing you just sent a message to the local pizzeria.”  — Dr. Slight L. Y. Stressed, ER Physician

  • “I tried to notify my team, and instead, my mother-in-law RSVP’d ‘yes’ to our next code blue. 10/10 would not recommend.”  — Flight Nurse
Coming Soon… Or, Not

While Secure-ish Messaging is not actually launching, we do take real security and HIPAA compliance seriously. Pulsara is committed to ensuring that real patient communications remain secure, efficient, and intentional. But hey, if you ever feel like living on the edge, you can always send a sensitive message to the wrong group chat the old-fashioned way.

Happy April Fool’s Day!
