Healthcare Silos are Costing our Patients

Healthcare Silos are Costing our Patients

SILOS are one of the biggest problems facing healthcare.

The patient's journey crosses multiple healthcare entities and/or departments in a hospital.  This has massive implications on real time team communication.  However, equally important is how many hospitals and regions approach addressing communication problems from a budgetary or evaluation standpoint.

Our budgets are often in silos and either focus on a single service line OR bridging the gap between a single silo.

Time Sensitive Emergency communication is about more than prehospital communication.  Prehospital communication bridges one gap and represents less than half of our STEMI and Stroke patients.  Systems of care are about more than just ECG transmission or prehospital stroke scores.

That is why Pulsara simplifies things and prehospital communication is FREE to all hospitals and EMS agencies.  We need a real time team communication platform that crosses healthcare entities.  The future of healthcare communication is connected teams.
