APRIL 1st, 2022 — Avid Pulsara customers know that they can depend on Pulsara for all their clinical communication needs. But long shifts and overtime hours can make it difficult to find time for extracurricular communication—particularly of the dating kind.
We hear you. That's why Pulsara is excited to announce our upcoming version of the Pulsara app: Tindara.
Perfect for medics and hospital clinicians who just don't have time for the dating scene outside of work, Pulsara's flexible new workflows will be able to help you find that perfect match.
Saw a cute new EMS hunk bring a patient in? Switch to your Tindara app to see if they're available! Think you might be a match with someone from one of your teams? Our upcoming integration will allow you to swipe right on their name in Pulsara, and you'll automatically be connected to their Tindara profile.
Mixing the office with one's personal life can lead to many complications and HR roadblocks. Pulsara has foreseen this, and is developing a solution: HIPAA compliant chatting for that inter-office romance.
"Clinicians will be able to 'set up' care teams in more ways than one," quipped Hannah Ostrem, Pulsara's Senior Director of Marketing. "In a completely appropriate and HIPAA compliant way," added Marla Lauersdorf, Pulsara's HR Director.
When asked for comment, Pulsara Founder and CEO Dr. James Woodson said, "We've been helping clinicians communicate around patient care for nearly a decade now. This...seemed like a natural extension of the platform."
Much like Pulsara's workflows for the patient journey, Tindara will focus on the entirety of the user's relationship journey. Tindara will facilitate better communication throughout the relationship, offering suggestions on how to improve vague or incomplete statements that could lead to misunderstandings. The platform will also feature a guided tutorial for crafting that all-important "it's not you, it's me" message.
While the Tindara platform is still in beta testing, a few members of Team Pulsara weighed in with their initial thoughts on the platform.
"It seems so accessible," said Pulsara's Creative Director, Michele Miller. "It makes me feel like I could try online dating."
"This is way better than my experience with other dating apps," chimed in Pulsara's Events and Digital Marketing Manager, Audrey Peart. "I had the opportunity to beta test it, and while I can't share much, I can say that much like Pulsara's cardiac workflows, this might just help mend a few hearts."
Pulsara's VP of Strategic Accounts, Corey Ricketson, claimed credit for the initial idea. "I've always said that Pulsara is the Tinder of the healthcare industry. I just didn't see us going quite this far."
When asked whether he saw this as a future possibility for the Pulsara platform, Senior VP of Product Tim Hakamaki simply shook his head.
Kris Kaull, Pulsara’s Chief Growth Officer, is optimistic about the platform’s entry into this new market. “Pulsara is great at fixing communication challenges, and we can agree that solid communication is core to any successful relationship. Our goal here at Pulsara is to connect the right person at the right time with the right resources. Period.”
