Pulsara Around the Country - May 2019

By Audrey Peart on Apr 29, 2019

April Recap:

Did you catch our exciting release announcement at the beginning of the month? Don't worry, Pulsara Earth will still be here for all your earthly, human, and healthcare communication needs 😉. While spring was still yet to be seen in April in Montana, our teams were seen out and about around the Northwest US (Colorado and Idaho). As we're typing this, some of our Pulsarians are making their way to Idaho for the New Frontier Emergency Medicine Conference where a room full people will be able to learn about the necessity of regional communication networks from the one and only, Pulsara Founder & CEO, James Woodson

May the force be with our teams as they head to six shows across the country in May.

The Future of Space Force Communications is Spaceara [Press Release]

By Audrey Peart on Apr 01, 2019

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Bozeman, MT -- April 1, 2019 -- In space, everyone will be able to hear you scream with Pulsara’s newest venture: Spaceara – Pulsara for Space! Don’t worry, Pulsara - now dubbed "Pulsara Earth" - will still be available as we continue to work towards universe domination through united teams.

“The decision to work with NASA’s Moon to Mars program was an easy one,” said Pulsara President, Dale Pearson. “I’ve always had my feet on the ground and my head in the clouds. I hoped I’d be involved with a product that would make it to space. Now, I am.”

Pulsara took a page on what not to do from Armageddon. Instead of trying to train our team to become astronauts, we trained the astronauts to use Pulsara, which was extremely easy since they’re all brilliant…and Pulsara is so simple to use. “But, cell phones? In space? Won’t they float away?” Don’t worry, we clearly thought about that! Working closely with NASA, we’ve created a special arms comm band that’s fitted directly into the astronauts’ suits. Similar to the app, they simply tap which module they need to use and, with the aid of a hidden stylus pen, communicate away.

Pulsara Around the Country - April

By Audrey Peart on Mar 29, 2019

March Recap:

Hello, is it Spring you're looking for? Well, we found it and eight trade shows in March. Clearly, the time change on the 10th didn't slow us down! Our teams traveled far and wide across the country - from the East Coast (South Carolina) to the West (Washington) - connecting with current and future Pulsara users. Our VP for Clinical Innovation and Development, Shane, even gave the opening presentation at the Singing River Stroke Symposium: IT'S ABOUT...TIME! Activating Stroke Alerts in the Field are the Key to Better Outcomes

April showers bring May flowers. We'll be showering the North with more love as we head to the Centennial State and the Gem State for three different and informative symposiums.

Pulsara Around the Country - March

By Audrey Peart on Feb 27, 2019

Heart-uary Recap:

We managed to pack four trade shows - and two huge announcements - into the shortest month of the year. During the International Stroke Conference in Hawaii, we announced our integration with iSchemaView, that now streamlines the sharing of images through its RAPID platform. Last week, during EMS Today in Maryland, it was announced that Pulsara has been added to the FirstNet App Catalog. Both announcements are huge wins in the fight to improve the lives of patients and care givers. While we don't have any exciting announcements in March, we'll be plenty busy.

There's a lot going on in March - March Madness, St. Patrick's Day, Spring Break, springing forward to Daylight Savings (March 10th, FYI), the Spring Solstice... As busy as March will be celebration-wise, Pulsara will be equally as busy as we spring to six states and seven trade shows.

Pulsara Around the Country - February

By Audrey Peart on Jan 29, 2019

January Recap:

Well, 2019 is certainly off to a great start! Not only did we start working with a slew of healthcare entities in Virginia, during the NAEMSP Annual Meeting in Austin, we announced the integration with the ZOLL RescueNet 12-lead monitor that allows ECG's to be attached directly from the monitor. January also took our teams to Wisconsin for the WEMSA Conference and NOLA for St. Dominic Hospital's NeuroCardio Update.

We've got another four shows we'll be attending from one side of the country to the other-ish (Hawai'i to Maryland) during American Heart month (February).

Pulsara Around the Country - January

By Audrey Peart on Dec 27, 2018

December and 2018 Recap:

In 2018, our teams attended 30 trade shows/conferences in 15 states across the country. 2018 was an exciting year as the Pulsara application evolved to include sepsis, trauma, and cardiac arrest modules, transfer/consult and video chat features, and an integration with ZOLL's X Series Monitor. While 2018 kept us busy, we don't see that changing in 2019. It's full steam ahead for our teams as they head to Texas, Wisconsin, and back to NOLA in January.

Pulsara Around the Country - December

By Audrey Peart on Nov 29, 2018

November Recap:

It was an exciting beginning of the month as we announced our new integration with the ZOLL X Series Monitor during EMS World at the end of October/beginning of November. Counting the tail end of EMS World, we attended 2-1/2 trade shows in November between Tennessee, Texas, and Florida. Don't worry, all the turkey our team consumed during Thanksgiving hasn't left us feeling too drowsy as we head into the final month of 2018.

We're finishing the year in the South with conferences in NOLA and Orlando.

Zipline Delivers Life-Saving Medical Supplies to Rwandan Villages Faster than You Can Get a Pizza Delivery [Video]

By Audrey Peart on Apr 10, 2018

Thirty minutes or less used to be standard for food delivery. Meanwhile, in other regions of the world, some remote villages would have to wait hours for the medications and blood needed to save lives. Fast forward to today, and -- thanks to the rising demand for delivery as well as urban sprawl -- the food delivery standard has grown to around an hour. But, the same trend has not followed medical supply delivery thanks to a startup called Zipline, which can now deliver life-saving blood, snake anti-venom, and medications to remote locations in a matter of minutes.
