He started his career as a Firefighter/EMT-Paramedic in 1983, and from there went on to become a risk manager, critical care education coordinator, and information systems architect. Joey has also served as the Chief Intelligence/Operations Officer for the Louisiana Emergency Response Network (LERN) and the Director of Technology at Acadian Companies.
