Alternative title: VP of Biking for a Cause and Sr. VP of All the Indoor and Outdoor Activities.
Why you want to be his friend: From cycling and skiing to hiking and camping, the self-proclaimed foodie is also an avid concert and music festival attendee. If you're traveling and want to know about the delicious eaters, epic ski resorts, beautiful camping spots, and amazing concert venues, he's your guy!
How he got here: With almost 30 years of EMS experience, James has seen it all. From rural Montana doing backcountry search and rescue, flight paramedic, ski resort fire department and county EMS chief, to urban areas such as Spokane & Yakima, WA as a street paramedic, James has had a colorful EMS career. He has also been an Ops Director in Detroit, MI, Dayton, OH, and Cincinnati, OH.
Why he chose Pulsara: James is passionate about people care, whether it was as a paramedic, or as a leader helping develop and guide his employees. James is a big proponent of employee engagement, servant leadership, and the development of positive organizational culture. The LEAN six sigma black belt is also passionate about developing systems and processes to improve inefficiencies, which James says is not only good for business but also improves job satisfaction.
Not-so-secret superpower: Biking. Just about every year, James and his daughter participate in the National EMS Memorial Bike Ride (Boston, MA - National Harbor, MD) to support our fallen brothers and sisters in EMS.
