With experience working as a paramedic, firefighter, and emergency room nurse, it’s evident that Wes Wood has a passion for helping people. 

Wes started in emergency services at the ripe old age of 15 as a first responder and firefighter. Once he was old enough to drive and had advanced through the ranks of emergency services training, he served as a paramedic in North Carolina. Wes later worked in several emergency rooms as a nurse, eventually becoming the director of two facilities, one of which was among the busiest in North Carolina. 

Following his work in the healthcare realm, Wes spent seven years with MEDHOST as a Clinical Consultant and Clinical Salesman. After learning about and falling in love with the platform, Wes came to work at Pulsara, where he serves as Sales Manager.

Wes and his wife over 30 years can often be found hanging out on the beaches of South Carolina with their group of friends deemed "The Committee," which holds frequent "meetings" to play in the surf and solve assorted "issues." When not palling around on the beach with “The Committee,” Wes can be found enjoying quality time with his grandchildren, fishing, or playing golf.
