Pulsara + RapidAI - How it Works (for the Admin User)

Pulsara's communications platform now includes the ability to receive images from iSchemaView's RAPID system, which provides quick and easy access to CT images within the RAPID application. This integration can help teams communicate and improve treatment times for stroke patients by activating the appropriate stroke response team(s).

This knowledge base (KB) article provides step-by-step instructions for Pulsara Hospital Administrators to configure the Pulsara + RAPID Integration.

Step 1:  Enable the MRN Patient Identifier

  • Log In to Pulsara MANAGER using Pulsara Admin credentials.
  • Select Hospital Details from the left navigation menu. 
  • Select the Edit button at the top right and scroll down until you find the Patient Identifier Type field

  • Click the drop-down list and select MRN
  • Click the Save button at the top right

The Pulsara + RAPID integration relies on the accurate entry of the MRN number. If the MRN number consists of special characters such as “-” (e.g., 19-123456ABC), they may have to be entered to get the exact MRN to pull the patient information from RAPID.
